Leslyn Stewart

Leslyn Stewart is a SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University alumnus with expertise in nursing, public health, and leadership.  Leslyn also provided operational and fiscal oversight on the board of Concerns Of Police Survivors where she oversaw the development and implementation of nationwide policies and procedures that promoted quality programs for survivors.

In her role as the Northeast Regional Trustee of Concerns Of Police Survivors (COPS) she managed the development of high-quality, cost-effective, and survivor-oriented services. She has held several key roles including Founder and President of the Metro New York Chapter of COPS.

Leslyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and a Master of Science from SUNY Downstate College School of Public Health. Ms. Stewart drew on her clinical skills and leadership experience to help COPS navigate the challenges of the most significant public health threat in more than a century, COVID-19.
