Exciting News! Power in Wellness is partnering with the Jamaican American Law Enforcement Organization (JAMLEO) for a special wellness day in Jamaica! This event is dedicated to supporting the physical and mental health of the law enforcement community. Stay tuned for updates as we bring wellness across borders!

In light of recent Hurricane events, Power in Wellness Health Consultants will be going to Jamaica to conduct a wellness workshop in support of native first responders and community members. Stay tuned for more details.

Past Events

NOBLE NY Chapter 2nd Annual 5K– Another successful 5K event sponsored by Power in Wellness Health Consultants. We were delighted to have a larger turnout than last year and see our first responders and community members engaged in fitness awareness together. We were able to make a substantial donation to NOBLE in honor of late Detective Dillon H. Stewart, End Of Watch LODD, November 28th, 2005.

Black Health Matters– PWHC attended the Black Health Matters (BHM) Fall Health Summit and participated in educational sessions focused on addressing access to healthcare, strategies for improving overall health, and wellness, and increasing health literacy in our community. This event also afforded us the opportunity to network with other healthcare advocates and transformative leaders such as BHM Founder & President Roslyn Young-Daniels.

Metro NY COPS 10th Anniversary Luncheon– PWHC Founder Leslyn Stewart was honored as Founder and President of Metro NY COPS Chapter.

New York NOBLE FIT Project & Mind Body Aquatics presents BLUE-MINDFULNESS Training– Thaddeus Gamory collaborated with NY NOBLE Health & Wellness Committee NOBLE-FiT Project and PWHC to provide a two-hour workshop as an Intro to the Blue-Mindfulness Experience: Water and Breath is Our Medicine Workshop.  A restorative justice approach to introducing black and brown people to the healing properties of water and breath and mindfulness.

November Blood Drive- KAVI collaboration-  PWHC and Kings Against Violence Initiative join together to drive blood donations in the NYPD and Brooklyn community. KAVI’s partnership delivered the essential message of youth engagement in community growth.
